Under the cooperation framework between TUBITAK and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), joint projects between Turkish and Bulgarian scientists are supported in various thematic areas.
One of the selected topics is: "Cultural-Historical Heritage and National Identity."
In this context, I am pleased to take part as a consultant in a developing project proposal focusing on the Balkan wine culture — a vibrant and shared heritage that reflects centuries of tradition, identity, and cross-border continuity.
This interdisciplinary initiative invites scholars from Bulgaria to explore the region’s rich viticultural history and cultural significance through collaborative research.
Why We Should Collaborate?
🔹 Deep experience in the Turkish wine industry, with strong ties to local producers and cultural context.
🔹 Academic background in education and development; former lecturer experience, fluent in research environments.
🔹 Ability to connect wine knowledge with pedagogical and androgogical design for heritage-focused learning and creative output.
🔹 Fully aligned with the values of co-creation, cultural dialogue, and forward-thinking collaboration.
📌 If you are a BAS researcher interested in wine culture, history, or identity studies, we welcome your expertise and curiosity.
Deadline: 30 September 2025
